Posted - 23/06/2011 : 10:23:59 Joani, my 9 year old daughter, discovered a wee skinny frog floating on its back in her tank this morning.
Cue drama queen sadness before school...
Just went in to check on it (I moved it to a seperate tub and put food in to try and encourage it to feed) and theres another wee skinny one belly up.
Scooped & flushed and hoping she doesnt notice! Am just gonna tell her the 3 massive frogs ate it :\
Gah Im a bad mum! |

Posted - 23/06/2011 : 15:15:16 Thank you Kaz... they are African Dwarf frogs. The 2 of them that died were tiny, and skelatol....where as the other 3 are huge, eating well and looking fine. They were all the same size when she was given them on her birthday xxx |

Posted - 23/06/2011 : 11:57:36 Is there other frogs in there?
If two have died of same symptoms so closely together I would worry about a disease.
Might be a good idea to keep an eye on the others and place them in a sterile environment until you know what's causing it
What type of frogs are they? |
