Posted - 09/07/2011 : 21:20:01 Had Indiana and Savanah for 5 weeks now. Had a few ups and downs but with a bit of using my grey matter (fingers crossed) both have settled. Indiana was fine, although felt she should be on fluffs rather than 2 pinks, so moved her up. Alls well, 5 feeds, no problems. But yet to shed
Savanna, not such a fantastic start. Some regurge due to a shed (which didnt go well either) and she was such a nervous bubba. 2 weeks of her faun being covered by a pillow case, calmed her down so much, she now is more adventurous than Indiana. Exploring throughout the day, even when we are near. Indiana just hides untill i am in bed.
*Touch wood* from now on should be a breeze. So happy with these 2 gorgeous snakes.

Posted - 09/07/2011 : 22:28:20 its one of those things....is she ready, isnt she ready....but she was managing large pinks no problem. Go with your gut feeling sometimes. Im gona leave Savanna a little longer till i start handling her. Just so i know the regurge has totally settled and she is keeping it down for several more feeds. Also bit more time to settle. Mats were having an eppy fit 2day...went lower than what they should have. so had to tweek...which is odd in this weather |
