After 3wks of syringe feeding and nursing our much loved 13yr old collie cross, on Monday we had to finally admit defeat and she was put to sleep. If that wasn't bad enough, because of the lack of sleep and stress of the last few weeks, my M.E has got much worse so I've spent the rest of the week absolutely exhausted, in severe pain, barely being able to walk to the bathroom and back. So, like I said in the title, it's been a really crappy week.

Since I got Barnaby in January I've been drooling over everyone pictures, especially the fantastic photos that Doogle takes of his hatchlings, but up til now I've been really strong and resisted getting any more snakes. That was until a couple of days ago when I suddenly thought "sod it" and emailed Doogle. I've now reserved one of his amazing looking anery lavenders.

It's going to be a couple of weeks until the hatchling is ready and the courier is doing a run up to Scotland, but I'm really excited. I've loved the lavender coloured morphs since the first time I saw one, so can't believe I'm going to have one of my own.

Aww so sorry to hear about your collie cross. That must have been so hard to go through, but you've done the very best for her till the end. What a ripe old age she was too. R.I.P little doggy. Hope you start feeling better in yourself soon too.
Congrats on your future addition though,I like them myself. I collected Ofelia and Kalypso from Doogle last Sunday and you will not be disappointed. His photo's may be good, but unbelievably the snakes are even better in the flesh! Just wish I had more money lol.

Looking forward to seeing pictures of your new addition though, and the names of your Guinea Pigs make me laugh. I used to watch Take the High Road when I was younger. My gran loved it.

Before them I had Dougal, Morag and Mairi, so have stuck with the Take The High Road theme. Very few people get the reference these days though. Lol.
