Posted - 17/07/2011 : 11:33:15 So this might be confusing. I'm getting a new viv built for my boa. He's currently in a wooden viv. I plan to swap my 2 cohabiting female corns into this wooden viv, using their exo terra to house my MBK then when she's big enough. (It's all about economising people!)
So obviously cleaning a glass viv is pretty straight forward. How do i go about cleaning a wooden one?
It has 2 built in wooden branch platform thingies in it too. (it was hand made) My boa is in perfect health, no mites or anything like that, but im still nervous about putting the corns in his viv. Wood just seems like it could harbour nasties much easier than glass.
Can anybody advise me?

Posted - 17/07/2011 : 11:50:59 Yeah they screw out i think. I'll probably dump all the leaves and things for new ones. What disinfectant should i use? Somethiing from the petshop or something stronger like detol or bleach? |
