Posted - 23/07/2011 : 11:12:33 Ivy is indeed on the toxic list. It can be deadly for reptiles, but is mainly if it's ingested. A veg eating lizard would be a definite no go, some snakes as well. Just take a trip down your local Dunelm Mill (or the Range if you have one) and get some fake ivy, it's usually about 4 quid for a 6ft garland and is quite effective.
There is a type of ivy/vine that I'm currently trying to get hold of that is safe for reptiles, however trying to get it in this country is not easy, I believe the only place that sells it in the UK is in Bristol.
