A muntant overgrown budgie has killed me or, chewed off all my fingers :( Were going to try and have him out this weekend for the first time ever :/ these birds are known to have sudden mood swing, he's had one with my b/f whilst he was fussing him and now he can't feel the end of his finger. He came off lucky since bites that break the skin are often a job for a&e.
Wish me luck  as lovely and cuddly as he can be at times, I'm not looking forward to it. |

Aw bless him. My ****atiels a funny sod,you can leave the door of her cage open all day and if she doesn't want to come out thats it. You can't get her out as she runs away from you hand,so due to this she can't fly as well anymore. 
Stupid thing is,when she does come out she'll do steps and everything! Oh and she'll let you tickle her while in the cage but as soon as you try to get her to step up she dashes off.....weirdo!! |

I don't think he was ever out with past owners :( he doesn't even know how to step up. He was out sat onto of his cage most the time napping lol. When it was tome to put away the b/f put a perch near him and he freaked, flew not very gracefully onto the floor, nibbled at a chair and cushion and then ran straight towards me, up my arm and shoulder before I knew what was happening and perched on my neck so I was a bit freaked as you not meant to have birds near your face. He went onto the b/f arm after some coaxing and then went back in.
On the plus side, he was very quite for a day :P We tried to get him out again yesterday, had the doors open for him and he just didn't want to come bless him, didn't even want to try training for stepping up with his fav food :( |

Still have my fingers, maybe not later when I try add put him back in. He spent 3 hours screaming at the electrition, another hour to alert me of a big fly that landed on the window. It took him an hour to come out his cage, think the moods will come when putting him in, the old owner needed stitches putting him last time he was out. |
