Hi all. Since rescuing Reggie last year things have been great and he's fab.
Just wondering if anyone had any comments on his following behaviour.
I was given a royal python just a few days ago (Nigel) who seems to be settling ok (another rescue snake) but since he has moved in Reggie is extremely active and constantly on the move and sniffing around the vents to his viv which is just in front and below Nigel's.
Is this normal or would Reggie feel threatened at all if he knows Nigel is there? I just don't want him to be stressed out.....
Thanks

Yes, with getting a new snake (especially a rescue) I would separate it in a different room for a good few weeks.
This obviously isn't always possible for everyone to do, so if not just make sure you always wash your hands between handling and such like.
As for the activity, chances are it's simply just being nosy to the new arrival I would 99.9% say that's nothing to worry about

I think if you get a new snake it should be in another room for a while incase of spreading any mits or something.
And i could be wrong, if he was stressed out he would hide?
