Has anyone else found that your corn snake or any snake seems to end up being your best friend.

I dont know about anyone else but flare seems to always be here for me when i need her, yeah i havent handled her as of yet but when im sad and crying she throws a fit and tries to get out to come see me, she follows me around the room and she generally makes me laugh.

who else has found there snake is there best friend?

So no my snakes aren't my best pals, but i can see how somebody might make the connection with a pet

Ah but dogs are different! My doggie is the same, and the horses to a certain extent.

No I like my best friends to actually care that I exist lol. The ability to speak is a bonus too!

Lol-- way to murder a thread :P

In fairness though it's true haha! I love my scaley friends but they are hardly a barrel of laughs like :P. All they want is food and warm and I don't think they really care who provides it!

I treat my snakes like my kids (although hubby argues I treat them better than him and the kids... mwuhahahahaha)

And I would rather sit in with my snakes than socialise with people I much prefer the company of them
