Lilly is now almost 2 years old, she's approx 3.5ft and as chunky as a womans big toe (sorry only description i could think of) She's fed on medium mice every 7-10 days. Her warm side has a hide, heatmat, thermostat, and digital thermometer with the temps sitting around 28.9. She's on aspen with loads of foliage and of course a water bowl.

The last couple of days she's non stop (thats an exageration, i have seen her in her hide and i'm not there 24hrs) been out up at the glass, in the trees pushing at the glass trying to get out, i'm presuming its a sexy dance (do girls do that too) she was last fed on 14th April, so not due a feed for at least another 24-48hrs.

I'm planning to move her up into a 3ft viv in the next week, just busy getting everything sorted for it. I had her probed when she was a baby so we can be almost certain its a female just obviously not 100%

Blaze was guessed as female and probably about 3 years old. She has always been pretty shy but a good feeder. That was until the start of the season this year. She is always on the go, skips alternate feeds and nearly went nuts trying to get to Big T. So you are not alone.

This is where the confusion for me lay you see. I always assumed she was a boy (for some reason I had it in my head she had been sexed as a hatchy) plus the sexy dancing all the time. But she was noticeably bigger & heavier than sexed males of her clutch. (A friend of mine has a probed male from the same clutch too)

Usually with hoggies you can 99% visually sex them by the end of the tail and vent. But with her is seemed harder to do so. I took her to serpentus reptile shop as I heard Ryan there is the man to see about sexing hoggies. He couldnt even tell by the tail! So visual sexing had him stumped. But he probed her as female 3 times.
