as some of you might have seen in the DIY section i am currently building a viv stack.

this leaves me with 2 fresh 2ft-2ft (length/width) by 2.5ft (height) vivs to play with once the project is complete. what snakes/lizards would be ok long term in the space given?

NO SPIDERS!

http://www.thecornsnake.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=23252 ... <no idea how that got there...

To give you an idea on handling a king. We got Ginn when she was 20 months old. Within the month she was tame - she prefers the ability to come out of her viv by herself, so a front opening is vital in my experience with her.

the Missus wants a hognose in one of em
i like milk/king snakes,
although i hear it can be quite hard to get them used to handling?

Liking the crested gecko idea, can they be housed in groups?
what about with other types of gecko? say a leopard gecko and a crested gecko?
or are they not THAT comunal?

I'm pretty sure a hognose would be OK in that size (which is why we want one in the future!!). I'm not sure about house snakes - I was interested in them as I thought they didn't get very big, but Figs' one is larger than I realised so no longer sure.
