So this evening i shall be going with the wife and daughter to go and see (what will be) my snake and have a handle to see how we get on.
Will also be looking at vivs and fauns and will be taking one home this evening, setting it up and working out how it all works etc etc
Tuesday we will be heading back to see a feed and wednesday we will be collecting her and welcoming her to her new home.
Hoping to take some pics this evening so will post up ASAP
Any reccomendations or things to look out for when we go up this evening.

agree with these guys the recomended time to let a snake digest its food is 48 hours.
tongue flicking, bright eyes and checking the genaral condition of the snakes scales eg...
look out for burns, signs of dehydration and been over wieght (wrinkly skin is a good indication)

Yep, if it's your snake that's being fed and they are happy to hold her for you I'd ask them to hold her for an extra day or 2. I brought Ember home recently the day after she'd fed only because they wouldn't hold her for me and I didn't want to risk them selling her to someone else. I was so worried for the following 24hrs in case she regurged though (fortunately she was fine). |

Are they feeding her on the tuesday, or another snake just so you can see? If they are feeding your snake, I would be concerned about getting her the day after feeding, she really ought to have a few days to digest or you are running the risk of her regurgitating her food. |

ask about feeding records and shedding records. Not everyone keeps them, but if they do ask to see them. Ask if theres been any feeding/shed problems. Ask aslo if theres been any health probs. I like to check the vent and scales and also the eyes to make sure everything seems ok. |
