I got a call from my dad today. He said "Do you want some slate for your tanks?"

I said "How much slate is there, and what size?", and he tells me to come over and have a look. So I get there, and there was a removal van just leaving, and my dad chatting to his (ex) neighbours. After a bit, when the neighbours leave, my dad says that there is quite a lot of slate in their garden, and that they're leaving it...

Anyways, a quick fence vault later, and my dad is handing me massive, 2kg+ lumps of blue slate from next doors garden! Quickly followed by some plants he fancied. Turns out it wasn't stealing as such, as no-one lives there (sketchy!), and if they wanted it, they would've took it.

Still, I've got some slate, my dads has some more slate (there was hell of a lot of it!), and I'm a little tipsy, coz he dragged me to the pub.

It was a good day....
