How often are you feeding?? Thats a huge amount of food a week. My snow baby only eats 1-2 pinkies a week as a fussy eater, but even lilly who's not a bit fussy would eat 6 pinkies in 10 days e.g. Day 1 - 2 pinks Day 5 - 2 pinks Day 10 - 2 pinks
lmaro im so sorry i ment to put 3 lol could not stop giggling when i seen i put 33 lol my snow is 8 months old and very slow grower she was on 1 fuzzy every 5-6 days i then put her up to 2 fuzzys each week then tryed a fuzzy after a few months and she chucked it up so pit her back on the 2 fuzzys for a wile and yesterday was the first time she took a fuzzy and it was gone really quick im just hoping she keeps it down now like i said she is 8 months old and 29g and about 20inc long she is just growing really slow
Thank goodness! |

Posted - 29/04/2012 : 08:26:49 I think the general rule is they shouldn't lose more than 12% of their body weight. 6weeks is nothing, Izzy went without feeding for 22 weeks last year. He lost about 100g and I did get worried but tried him with a much smaller mouse than normal and he finally ate, Since he started eating again he has been a more consistant feeder than he ever has, only missing during shedding.
33 pinkies a week??? Thats power feeding on an epic scale LOL |

Posted - 29/04/2012 : 08:09:30 Sounds like a normal amount of weight to loose. I think its if its more than 15 percent of his overal body weight and then you should worry. But 14g is like 2.5 percent xx |
