Posted - 01/05/2012 : 23:50:13 Can someone help me? Im ussually good with this kind of things, but everything ive tried has failed. I have a female corn snake (which is expected to lay eggs) and she refuses to eat. Ive tried my ussual live ones, thawed ones, and even pinkies. She just doesnt want them. I know that shes suppost to eat a lot before she lays eggs so she has enough strength to lay them. Its been about 1 1/2 weeks and she just shed. She acts like she wants to eat but doesnt seem interested in what I try feeding. Ive even given her a warm bath (which she always enjoys) and changed her bedding. Ive added nothing new to her vivarium. Anyone have any answers? |

Posted - 04/05/2012 : 22:08:34 My appologies Georgina. I did a little researched and discovered that she probably is looking for a laying box. I have put on in today, and she seems satisfied now. Only a matter of time before I have my very first batch of eggs!!!! |

Posted - 02/05/2012 : 00:24:11 its difficult to advise as we tend to scent our prey to try and get them to feed. if she has had her prelay shed then i reckon shes waiting to lay eggs and is out and about looking for a lay box? x |
