Posted - 11/05/2012 : 13:14:10 Its not so much injuring them its that more pressure is required as they have better muscle tone and can resist the popping motion so its more likely to get a false reading or use excessive pressure when they resist. Probing has its drawbacks too but is a lot more reliable on adults than popping. Knowing what you are doing is what makes it safe. |

It is easy, but also easy to do it wrong and cause damage (and get poo'd on!) so if you can get someone to show you how, you'll get the hang of it quickly. |
