Hello,
I've read so much online about where to and where not to place. It kind of all contridicts itself.
Thought I'd ask your oppinions here, as so far you've all been a great help.
Should it be placed on the floor of the viv ?
Should it be secured to the wall of the viv ?
Should it be outside the viv underneathe ?
My viv is made of wood. and looks like this

Mat should go inside the viv, on the floor. Stat sensor on top of the mat too as that is the temperature that you want the stat to regulate  When your thermometer arrives, it is a good idea to elastic band the probes together so that they are reading the temperature from the same place. |

Where is it best to place the heat sensor for the mat? At the moment I have it directly on top of the mat as my digi therm wont arrive until tomora

you will also need a digital thermometer with a probe placed directly on the heat mat |

Hey. I have mines inside the viv (if outside, the heat won't get through the wood properly) and on the floor. As long as it's on a stat it's all good :) |
