Posted - 02/11/2012 : 06:28:07 Well I got Boozer on sunday and have left him till last night. He has been out and about so decided to see what he was like to handle. Put my hand in the viv and after him shying away a couple of times he came on to my hand up my arm and out hooray. So nice a little fella. I am gonna try feeding him tonight as the moron who had him couldn't even tell me when he was fed last. Hoping everything goes well I think he has had enough bad luck as a pet. |

Posted - 08/11/2012 : 11:17:07 I would say that the initial tight grip then eventual relax is normal behaviour. He's just checking that he's secure before going exploring. A couple of mine do the same. That includes the MBK and Carpet Python as well as the Corns. |

Posted - 08/11/2012 : 07:52:24 When he's out and about I have started opening his viv door and he comes out onto my hand on his own after a little think about it. The only problem with him seems to be he quickly coils round my wrist and grips like a vice. Am wondering if he may of been dropped at some time he tends to loosen off after about 10mins and moves about happily then. |

Posted - 02/11/2012 : 10:08:15 That's awesome! That he approached you so fast can only mean that he's a very laid-back snake :) |

Posted - 02/11/2012 : 09:16:42 Oh well, half a week is better than none!!! Please make sure you leave him the full 48 hours after you feed him. You really don't want a regurge. I'm so pleased he's quite happy to come and explore you and his surroundings. Bless him, I expect he thinks he's in paradise. |
