Posted - 23/11/2012 : 20:17:46 So last time jinx was due a shed i gave him a moss hide as his previous sheds hadn't been very good. which worked a treatand we have our first compleate shed. he's in blue again at the mo so i've popped in a moss hide again. Do we think it would be best to use a moss hide every time he sheds from now on or try him with out next time and see how it goes? |

Posted - 23/11/2012 : 21:21:59 If it helps him and makes you feel happier then go for it. There's no harm in using a moist hide as long as it's not too wet. You are just aiming to raise the humidity a bit. Make sure you take it out after he's shed so the humidity isn't high all the time or you increase the risk of respiratory infections. |
