Posted - 26/11/2012 : 22:56:06 So the viv needs to be cooler at one end and warmer at the other..I've found a heated cave with built in thermostat I'm assuming I can use it as a hide and double up as a heat mat? I don't want it to get too hot do I? Should I still get a heat mat as well or not? |

Habistat Mat Stat (100 watt) and any appropriately sized mat depending on the size of the viv. It should cover approx 1/3 of the floor area. |

Posted - 26/11/2012 : 23:02:12 I've seen these but can't imagine them working well. I'd just get a heat mat and stat personally. I know that corns gather heat from their under bellies. So a heat mat would be more practical.
You can find some good deals online.
I think these habi stat mats are much more Better than the micro climate brand that I have
