Si is on his way home with it now, I can't wait to get it set up and pick snakey up over the weekend...!!!!

He also bought a plant, a hide (lady n shop said its big enough for him to feel comfy but to have half on hot end and half on cooler end?! I want to get another I think though, got his heat mat, thermometer ( get digi one and thermostat as well coming from someone on here I think) some feeding tongs, a couple of pinkies, a water bowl and a feeding tub...

That all sound about right??.

Anything else I need

Or cut it in halve to make semi circles and you get 2 hides out of one tube

maybe bury it in the aspen a bit so its less likely to roll around :)
Mumhols Posted - 27/11/2012 : 19:17:59
Okay, maybe ill stick a loo roll tube in the cooler end then thanks.
ScalySituation Posted - 27/11/2012 : 19:17:12
you dont need to use proper hides, loo roll tubes and butter pots are firm favourites

The bids the lady gave me is rather big and peaches is only tiny, I'm worried its too big? I wanted to get 2 one for each end but without it being really crowded in there I can't fit another one in unless i change the first one to a smaller one? What do you think

When I got my monkfield faun it did exactly the same and I used aspen, but it went after about 24 hours
ScalySituation Posted - 27/11/2012 : 18:48:46
as georgina said on the other post its probably cos its too hot in there, no point setting up without your stat
Mumhols Posted - 27/11/2012 : 18:47:37

ScalySituation Posted - 27/11/2012 : 18:43:55
