Posted - 25/08/2013 : 14:33:14 Same as Moppet, I generally wait, till they've pooped. Baz is the only exception, she sometimes needs a handling session, so that she actually goes... Had to do it yesterday, she hasn't pooped for well over a week after feed, and was very bulgy, but wouldn't go. Nice handling session, and couple of hours later....;-0 let's just say, our cat would have been proud of that! |

Posted - 24/08/2013 : 22:36:44 I always leave mine at least 48 hours, usually longer especially if they still have a bit of a bulgy bit near the back end... |

Posted - 24/08/2013 : 21:56:15 I leave mine 48 hours, although sometimes another day if she's lethargic and hasn't pooped. |

Posted - 24/08/2013 : 18:42:21 I always leave mine 48 hours. Why risk a regurge? It's not good for the snake and not much fun to clean up either!! |

Posted - 24/08/2013 : 17:58:54 I've always left mine about 48 hours after eating, but don't bother waiting 'til it's come out the other end. I've managed to work out roughly when he can be expected to go and so far have never been pooped on |

Posted - 24/08/2013 : 17:55:06 I seem to have got mine worked out as to when they poop so tend not to have that problem apart from the odd mishap |

Posted - 24/08/2013 : 17:49:20 I leave longer. Honestly I do not see why people handle their snakes before they have pooped other than to maybe make topics complaining how they have been pooped on :p |

Posted - 24/08/2013 : 17:48:05 I never have that problem as I am not allowed enough to make me full lol |

Posted - 24/08/2013 : 17:36:19 I've got 2 who are normally up and about banging on the glass after just 24hrs and feel a bit guilty for not getting them out until after the full 48hrs. |

Posted - 24/08/2013 : 17:32:26 I leave all 8 of mine until they become active and pooped. I know how grumpy I get if I get wakened during my after dinner snooze.
7 are now on a 10 day feeding routine, the young Cali-Demon is still on 7 days and still tries to eat me at every opportunity.
Plenty to keep me occupied with the T's and the crix, mealies and roaches on a daily basis. |
