My snake has gone very shy not coming out of his hide for several days now. When I have spotted him he has gone very dull with cloudy eyes so I am expecting him to shed just wondered if this is normal behaviour for him to be so reclusive? Thanks

Aaarhg - you don't know how lucky you are to have actually seen it! I have 3 snakes, and in 2 and a half years + of snake keeping, I've only seen it 3 times - and that's not for lack of trying! :-)

Getting ready to shed,he will clear for a few days and then shed and its normal for them to hide away at this time

My corn and taiwanese beauty borh go very reclusiive when in shed. I think its due to the sensory lose they feel more vulnerable.
