Posted - 18/11/2009 : 21:47:51 haha PW like me when i started boxing, went flat out on the bag and tore most of the ligaments in my right arm.
Getting your body prepped for training is the best way, as i found out. I'd like to join the army only for the fitness aspect would be a great experience. Aparantly, you need the fitness level of an olympic athlete to be a Navy Commando.
Good luck!!! |

Just remember to ease yourself gently into training. If you go to fast too quick you'll hurt yourself. Stick at it and you'll get there . |

Posted - 18/11/2009 : 10:31:34 The main test is a three mile run, First half as a squad and the second half individual total time is I believe 29 minutes. I was running those times in my late 30's. Even quicker when I did my Corporals course |

Posted - 18/11/2009 : 05:02:27 Think it is great that you have made this decision Dibzy, especially as you have obviously put some serious thought into it. Just take it steady now and work out a sensible fitness regime that you can begin to build on slowly. I know you can do this if you really put your mind to it!
