if he's 4ft he'll be at least 3-4 years old.......

i bought a yearling last year and had to do a double-take at the hatchdate on the box as it was no bigger than a hatchling!

I am beginning to think that they might have got his age wrong in which case can anyone suggest how old he might be.

i'd say he was pure corn and although you know how long you've had him i'd suggest he was older than you thought/were lead to believe when you got him

Hey Kim, welcome to the forum - certainly looks like a Corn to me, though I'm no expert on cross-bred etc. Very hansom fella he is too. I'm sure one of the other guys will be able to give you a bit more info.

Hi and welcome.
Do you have any pics you could post on here of your snake? It may help in regards to ascertaining his weight and whether he's a corn crossed with something else.

I am certain of his age but as I bought him from a pet shop I can't be sure if he's been crossed with something else or not.
I did think he was a bit big for a corn of his age but as he's my first snake I wasn't sure

my male is 15 months and 2.5ft long, he has 1 large mouse each week ... 4ft at 18 months is extremely large, are you 100% certain of his age

heya and welcome

4ft at that age is pretty drastic........either his age is wrong or he's not a corn!
Krazy Kim Posted - 14/09/2011 : 19:16:27
yeah im sure I've had him since he was 3 months old from a specialist pet shop im hoping hell stop growing soon otherwise i can see myself buying a 5ft viv for him.

Hi, I'm not sure about the feeding side but 4 feet at 18 months sounds quite big, are you sure about it's age? Sure other more experienced owners will offer good feeding advice for adults.
