Well I went and picked up our latest addition yesterday. An extremely grumpy 10 month old Honduran Milk Snake. The guy I got it from has been struggling with it since he got it as its so jumpy and snappy. I have to say I am not surprised by its behaviour when I went to see it. It was in a small faunarium with nothing covering the sides and just a piece of folded newpaper and a water bowl. The faun was sitting on an unstatted mat. GGrrrrrrrr some people. He put on his gloves when I got there and grasped the poor thing by its tail. I think I would bite him if I was treated like that. His all tucked up in a small rub now with hides and plants and sitting on statted mat, reckon he/she thinks its in heaven lol. I've got the mat set so its providing a temp of 28c by a digital thermometer at the moment just wondering if it needs to be higher, so many care sheets say different things. So anyone that has any tips on hondurans, as I know they can be very jumpy and nippy, will be appreciated. And I will of course post some pics of Bryan, hope you like his name, once he has settled in.
