Ha-ha-ha! Little cracker. The IJ's are beautiful.
The Carpets always have that hungry crocodile look due to the sawtooth pattern on the lip scales plus the sensor pits on the lower jaw. Most times they are pretty docile with nothing to prove, they already know who's the Boss. Having said that, they do get that murderous mad look when they have a dose of the grumps. Vambo almost had my face several times a couple of weeks ago and showed me an extreme close up of why I'm thankful for my fast reflexes. |

Cheers guys & no I wasn't being cautious lol he is very lively and striking at everything that moves, I did break the 7 day rule with my corn but will be sure to let Monty settle in first but still feel he's going to be a handful. I don't mind getting bit but the amount he was striking I'd have had more holes than swiss cheese.so roll on next Friday. I know it's the cornsnake forum but I'll keep you all updated from time to time

Most beautiful type of snake (bit biased)and yeh good idea with the gloves still don't trust mine, I agree with Donnie wiping up blood gets boring. |

Congratulations, he's a real looker, and showing the typical I'm going to bite your face carpet pose not sure if he is bitey or you are just being cautious but you will soon learn if you need the gloves all the time or not when he is young. Two of mine are fine to be handled and the other two I always put the gloves on as I got bored of wiping up the blood |
