pet shops charge quite a lot here too, amel hatchlings are £35 plus in a few and i've seen them for about £15 privately, pet shops have the time and space to keep them though so they don't mind holding out for the sale whereas some people selling privately want a quicker sale therefore have to charge lower ... also good breeders price their hatchlings in accordance with morph

Gem, iv seen normals and amel hatchies up for £49 in rep shop down here. It's rediculous.

Thats madness Sam, I thought they were dear at our local rep shop at £39.99 but saying that I breed them myself and if I have to buy I buy from shows so used to the bargains lol.

ive seen in pet shops for as high as £89.99 for a hatchling!

There is loads of breeders down south if you know where to look.

I think it depends on the area. Down south its more around £45-60 for shop hatchlings. Up north are more breeders (that I'm aware of anyway) so competition is higher ergo prices lower for higher morphs.

I brough a snow corn snake from a pet shope (which are more) for £35.00 i agree i sell my hatchling snows for around £15-£25 depending what they turn out like x
fluffycorn Posted - 20/09/2011 : 20:46:33
I absolutely agree with the above post, I bought my snow for £20 last week and the breeder had about 7 left that he had to sell with hardly no interest
Gemsyork Posted - 20/09/2011 : 20:27:27
They are far to expensive a snow is worth about £20-£25 I have a visual snow motley on at £35 with no interest so have a feeling you might be struggling, Snows are only £40 in the shops
