Hi,Bow my corn now is about 8months old and I have had him since the middle of January. When I take him out of his viv he is happy and everything is fine but when I take him out of my room he changes and seems to not like it. Is this normal due to the change in temp between each room or something ??

Also because of the lush weather I was wondering are corn snakes able to go outside??

Thanks :) x

If it has skin it can be burnt by the sun.

Probably a daft question as I know these snakes are from sunnier climates but... Amels are albinos - missing the dark pigments - can they get sun burn?

Right ok thanks for the advice :) I will try and get him used to other rooms in the house first and see how it goes :)

I've just started taking Falco out of my Daughter's room and I've had him since October.Like your Bow he didn't like to leave the room he lived in, and it just took time for him to become more confident.I wouldn't take Bow outside if it were me, not until he feels secure in other rooms in the house as it would probably be too frightening for him.

You can take them outside if you are careful with them and keep an eye on their behaviour, if they appear distressed or eager to hide then its time to put them back.
