Well i found a regurge in Mo's enclosure today :( It was just by chance that i decided to check on her and found it. I don't know why i didn't notice it before as i have noticed an off putting smell in the tank occasionally. I had looked for where the smell was coming from and couldn't find it, It was inside a hide hidden by aspen :( Really has upset me. This plus her upset bowel movements has gotten me super worried. I still havn't heard back from the vet so John is going to be calling as soon as they are open. I don't like thinking my baby is sick :/
Any advice on dealing with regurge and an unwell snake would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I think it was afterwards i noticed the smell, after the bowels. John is booking her into the vets just now. I'm just so worried now i have that pit in my stomach :( I hope it was just a bad batch of mice and it will soon pass.
She's been on fluffs now for a little while and this has only just started so i wouldnt of thought it to be due to change in food.
I'l go back down to pinks if i can pick up (went to my seller yesterday and the order hadnt come in yet).
I'll take a look at the sticky thank you.

Hmmm - so if you have thought there has been a smell for a while did this happen before the odd bowel movements? Hopefully it's just a one-off and maybe the odd bowel movements were as a result of the regurge after the initial swallowing had already got the stomach acids going? Just a suggestion. Hope all is OK and she eats well for you next time. Had you increased food size or anything? What food size is she on currently as it's best to offer a smaller size after 10 days following a regurge (you probably already know that but it's worth mentioning in case you don't!)

Edit - Oh and no handling until after the next feed either. there's a sticky somewhere I think...

Edit 2 :P yep, the sticky is right above this post! http://www.thecornsnake.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=7792
