Hey guys, I'm having mixed results feeding my hatchies. 7 are more than happy to take pinkies, most of them directly from the tweezers. One is a fussy madam and will only take chicken strips, but it's food and I'll start scenting pinkies soon. Hopefully won't be too hard to convince her she likes mice. 6, however, have yet to eat a single meal. They've refused everything offered, chicken and pinkies, prepared in a variety of ways. On a whim tonight I lopped off the pinkies tails and popped them directly into some of the babies mouths (4, I think...and I thought force feeding Diego was hard :p ) and they ate them right away, straight down. So I think there will be some success with assist feeding. My question is, what can I use? Whole pinkies are bigger than I feel comfortable offering. I've seen some suggestion of mouse tails but I'm not sure about the nutritional value of this. Any ideas? Thanks ^_^

I'm absolutely no expert on this so anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I've heard of people just offering pinkie heads or cutting pinkies in half length-ways for babies that struggle with the size of whole pinkies... Might be something to consider?
