Well I had to force feed a young corn today, he's 11mth old but hasn't eaten since the end of May. He's only small and weighs 26g, he was 30g when I got him. I've tried everything and this was a last resort.
I managed to get a rats tail down and he's taken it, I pushed it all the way in very slowly, didn't seem stressed and afterwards seemed happy enough to stay on my hand.
Has anyone got any tips on what's next, do I try with a pinky in a week or stick to forcing tails? I tried a pinky head last week but he kept spitting it out as soon as I let go.
Fingers crossed he keeps it down, health wise he seems fine, looks good, has shed, is active and drinks a lot.

thanks Mj, tried all those things and just no interest at all. Very nice chilled out snake to handle and no fazed by anything. The only thing is he was kept with 2 others the same age before I got him but that's the only difference between setups.
The tail I gave has stayed down so far so he won't regurge now. I'll try again in a few days with another brained warm pinkie, if not then another rat tail.

Have you tried just leaving well alone and disturbing as little as possible?
Sometimes you get a shy/reserved one that likes to eat in private at night. You could try;offering a food item every 5-7 days-I mean just quietly place it outside his hidey hole and check the next day.Vary the food items eg, pinky with mushed brain, leg of chick, teensy or half rat pup. With a fussy one I always offer the food at body temp (hairdryer works for some!I use room temp defrost then just under aquarium light in hood to 'warm')
Whereabouts is he kept?is it a quiet room or a major family living zone?
You could try lights out and covering the viv or feeding tub with a towel.
Try not to worry-they generally all get there in the end; I bought a wee one that was guzzling away on fuzzy's then decided not to eat when I got him-did a taste tour of my freezer before finaly deciding ALL food is good and is now a proper dustbin!
Good luck and keep us posted

Everything is spot on, he stopped eating just before I got him. I've tried the lot, nothing worked so I resorted to force. He seems fine today and has kept it down so far.

Have you tried braining a pinky? My corn didn't eat for a couple of weeks so I brained a pinky and then put it in his hide and he ate it after that.
Check your temperatures and humidity as they might be contributing to why he's not eating if they are too high or too low.

Sorry I'm not much help but its what I checked for all mine when they haven't eaten.
