Hi all, sorry for my recent absence. I noticed this on my boy the day before yesterday, but assumed it was just a bit of loose skin as he was about to shed. He shed this afternoon however, and the blemish is still there. It looks to me like a bit of physical damage to the scales, it is dry and clean-looking, but I just wanted to confirm this (I'm paranoid about scale rot :S ) and that, if it is just damage, it should clear up by itself:

I wouldn't worry, looks like maybe the scale got slightly damaged. Ember will occasionally have scales show up like this (she's amel also, I think it is more obvious on the red). I'd give it a wipe with some damp kitchen roll just to check it's not a retained patch, and if it doens't come off, just wait until next shed :)

Sorry, it's on his neck, just behind and to the right (our right) of the first orange patch.

The fact that it's not immediately obvious is a good sign though :)
