That's great! It's a big relief to get the first shed over and done with. I hope he eats for you now.

Hi all,
thanks for advice, I tried her again last night leaving the mouse on a pice of kitchen roll in the viv and covering the viv with a towel (ive got a cat and im afraid she may be noseying at the glass when im in bed!)
Shes still not taken the mouse this morning, but ive just got her out to handle for a while and could it be because shes shedding?I hadnt noticed anything this week but when I just looked at her I think she must definatley be ready to shed as her eyes have gone a really dull greyish colour and she was really jumpy.Do they eat when shedding or am I better off just leaving till shes finished?Also-There is a water bowl which is big enough for her to bathe in if she wants but should I also get some damp moss or something for the hide??

Lovely photos, give her a good 10 days to recover before feeding again.

He is lovely Good to hear he's settled down for you.
Sorry to hear about the regurge though. If you wanted to try feeding him outside of his viv again you could always just put his feeding tub back in the viv once he's fed and let him climb out when ready.

I've always fed my girl in her viv (on kitchen roll) and she's never went for me as munch. I hope that my new-ish male will calm down like your Percy, he used to bolt whenever I touched him and shake his little tail (which maked me laugh). Now's he's hiding due to shed.
Hope all is well for him for his next feed :)

Hi everyone again! Here are the first pics ive taken of the lovely Percy who we have had for a week now.First couple of days he was really shy and striking at me when I went to change water.Left him 5 or so days and he is just lovely now.Tried to give him his first feed last night. He took the food straight away, but I must have spooked him when trying to put him back in the viv as he spat the whole thing back out :( lesson has been learnt from that though and Im going to feed him in his viv from now on.
