Posted - 14/02/2012 : 02:32:51 He was another re-homer from the SSPCA so can only take a guess at being about 3 years old.
BTW, Mirkey and Blaze were also homeless waifs from the same orphanage. I can only estimate them both as being around 3-4 years old. |

Posted - 14/02/2012 : 02:27:38 Thanks,Its all very confusing this snake business lol. How old is Woody? |

Posted - 14/02/2012 : 02:01:54 Taggart is a Miami Normal and has the typical silvery-grey background to to the saddle patches. The saddles are a tan shade of brown.
The Carolina Normal is just a regional colour variation of the same species. There is usually more orange or even reddish brown on the background. The saddles are a deeper almost chocolate brown.
That's the very basic difference between the two but the variations can go on and on. For example, Wee Woody was a good example of a Carolina when younger but now his background colour is turning silvery and starting to look almost as Miami-ish as Taggart.
Just call them Standard Normal Corn if in doubt. |

Posted - 14/02/2012 : 01:37:23 I think Percy would appreciate the shelf, now shes less shy. Ive put a half cut box thing in as a temporary hide and have noticed her sitting on the top of it quite a lot, so she must like to be higher up in the viv.
ps-slight change of subject but whats the differences between a Miami and a Carolina? I notice Taggart seems to be more grey then brown?

Posted - 13/02/2012 : 20:54:05 I don't know his actual hatch date. I 'inherited' him at around 4 years old so he will be 7 going on 8 years old. |
