Ceres was the Roman goddess of agriculture, grain crops, fertility and motherly relationships and as our beloved Labradoodle is named after a Roman god, it seems appropriate.

So, here she is:

She had her first feed with us today after a week of solitary to get used to her surroundings. Tried the 'dangling it in front of her' method first but she seemed a bit reluctant, so left the pinkie in the feeding RUB and whilst she sniffed around it, seemed uninterested.

So I thought the braining technique might work and, sure enough it did although there was little excitement, but it all went down!

So, like all of you, I'm relieved that she has eaten her first meal.
