Here she is, just eaten her first fuzzy. Never thought I'd get her to the stage of eating anything, let alone a fuzzy ^_^ Now she's actually eating she's growing, her colour is coming in beautifully (gonna be a bright one) and she's finally shedding in one piece instead of lots of little scraps.

Checkers on the other hand isn't doing quite so well, she'll eat but usually only once every 2 weeks. She is growing, but slowly :/

That tub is one of her hides, there's a hole in the side and it has a black lid. I just feed in their rubs.

Liana is amel, het caramel, poss het hypo (she carries the caramel genes and maybe the hypo genes but does not express them visibly). She was a non feeder for the first 8 months of her life, she didn't grow and her colour didn't develop like her siblings (corn snakes colour can change dramatically as they get older). She started eating approximately 3 months ago and has started growing and developing her colour. She appears darker towards the head because the orange between her saddles is developing there first, gradually it will darken along the rest of her too.

Here's a picture of her at a few weeks old, notice how uniform the pink is between the saddles from the head to the tail.

This is one of her siblings when he was 6 months old. Had Liana been eating, she probably would have looked much the same. I expect her to look like this (or very similar) in a few months.

very cute wee one,why is it so much darker around the head area? is it to do with this het motley amel stuff everyone talks about? do you feed in that wee tub?
