Okay, Medusa is now 3 months old and is trying to bite all the time. She's okay when you get her out of the faun' she relaxes and will wrap herself around your hand and stay for as long as possible but getting her out or even changing her water seems to irritate her?!
Anyone know what could be wrong?
Thanks

I got Saracen when he was already a year old and he was very nervous in his viv, never biting but vibrating and 'running' away. Once I had hold of him and he was out of the viv he was fine, just like Medusa. I opened his viv daily, moved really slowly, gave him a chance to sniff me and move away and stroked him without picking him up immediately so he knew it was OK to be touched and then finally picked him up gently but firmly. It took six months but now he comes out to me and doesn't vibrate when I touch him (unless I've just washed my hands - he doesn't like the smell). Hopefully as you have Medusa from a little'un it'll take less time for her to feel relaxed.

Give her time and she'll get used to you and realise you're not the big threat she sees you as atm!

Ah thanks. I sound silly now but I guess it happens all the time. She can't bite properly yet she just tries to but it's really off putting sometimes :(
Thank you
