The humidity in my corn snakes viv has been somewhat low lately, i've been misting it quite a bit for the past few days but it seems to always be a little too low.

While the humidity is still safe for him, i prefer to keep closer to the highest recommnded just in case.

Is there anything I can do to help keep it up?
Also, should i be using warm or cold water to mist?

thank you for the help

corns dont need a high humidity so 40% is fine, but low humidity may provide problems suring shedding so will be worth giving a misting every other day when it comes to shedding time, use lukewarm water not cold or hot (if that makes sense).

That's slap bang in the middle of the recommended range. Not low at all considering outdoor humidity has bottomed out at 10-15% over the past few days. I'm guessing that this has had a knock on effect as I've noticed my Vivarium's humidity has dropped too to about 40%, but between 30-50% is fine.

i dont mist mine at all apart from when she is in shed maybe a spray or to or add a water bowl in the hot end so it condensates and another one in the cool end to drink :)
