Hi, I have seen on here that you can use wood from a forest but not just any. So would it be ok to use branch from a oaktree or chestnut tree - (conker tree)?

Also prob a silly one but as my morgana is only eating pinkies would i expect to see much or any poo, how long after they have eaten would i expect to find it in her viv?

Thanks in advance.

Think bird poo, a black and white dusty smudge on just one or maybe two pieces of wood chip. Once it dries out which happens quickly disturbing it will break it up making it even harder to see.

Around 7 months old, well thats what i was told. I was expecting it to be small just not 100% being new to corn snakes.

Thanks for clearing it up. I'll just keep a close eye and see if i spot it.

I take it Morgana is only small. A point to note is that their poo is titchy when they are little. Its quite difficult to spot on wood chip/aspen etc.

this gives some toxic plants etc for reptiles, http://www.thecornsnake.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=2402.

you will see some poo, and generally anything upto 4 days after eating, some may wait a little longer though.
