Spot has the whole 2 foot viv to explore, climb, hide and burrow in, and where is he, inside the light guard again. Going to have to make a modification or two to close off the general lighting area, though if he enjoys hanging out on mesh suspended from the viv roof he's going to love the hammock I have just got in the post today.

Hey, that looks like a really good buy. Looks very similar to the ones I use except I can't remember the name of them!

If you could post a link it would be greatly appreciated. My guard cost £20, not worried about cost if it keeps him out.

Its a nice looking guard too. DO you know who was selling it?

just got an excellent light guard from ebay especially for the smaller reptiles, have been looking for ages cos i was also worried about noodles being able to get inside the other ones on the market. they havent been on ebay long and are very well made out of very small circular holed mesh that even the tiniest of snakes wouldnt get through.

lol!!
lotabob Posted - 01/01/2011 : 22:12:53
Yep, having to invest in some really fine wire mesh (not so fine it could injure Spot's scales) to make a light guard guard. Its lucky he has gone into hiding, must be a shed on the way, should keep him out of trouble for a few weeks while he does what he does.

He was sat in there with this 'what you gonna do about it' look. Had to get the screwdriver and dismantle the dam thing to get him out.
