Ive got one of these that my newest addition was in, really nice and sturdy and i would say completely escape proof as the latches are really secure and theres no gaps at all. I would say it would be fine for a hatchling but doesnt really give a bigger corn enough room to explore and no climbing room. And i found that it got a bit of condensation forming on the top so have to watch the humidity levels. My boy was only in it for a couple of days til his new big boy house arrived but am gonna keep it for when i get my boy his baby for his birthday.

I bought one of these when i got my 3 year old corn. It is a really nice tank and the heat mat fits nicely and locks are snake and child proof..... for now. My only concern is if it is big enough- more in terms of height. I think i will keep mine for a few years and would then increase in size slighty.

look on the main page - there is a pic that shows the mat goes under it the floor is made of glass so thats why it sounds wrong :)

they look ok but I think they are more suited for geckos or something small..

I read it that way too!

It says attach at the back, not underneath.

I found pics from another seller on ebay that shows where to slot it in through the back, but it sits flat under the floor. The wording is misleading I agree!

No, they go on the floor as Lucy said. My local place sells these and I do like them, but as mentioned they're not really a stackable option so not for me.

The heat mat goes in a purpose build slot under the floor.

They look nice, but stacking them isnt an option really

If not you could always add a latch :)

I would imagine he would take the top one off first

What lift off a fully functioning viv, complete with snake, hides, water bowl etc just to change the water in the one below ?

i'd be concerned about how escape-proof they were (or weren't!!)

And i have a HUGE roll of frosted window clings as I got so fed up of wiping the sticky finger marks from the kids off the glass interior doors!

I was looking at them - bit more expensive but they seem quite nice. Im wondering the same thing :)

Only reason they would be no good for me, you can't stack them!

Also, not keen on the glass top as it's too open for a snake, they like to feel safe from threat from above. I guess you could cover it with some frosted fablon stuff.
