If you are then its not implying that female snakes under those guidelines can't breed it's just that if they are at least those measurements, they tend to do better with carrying the eggs and laying them as they are bigger in size and also have the adequate amounts of body fat to use up when they can no longer chow down on a mouse..  hope this helps |

You may get the odd infertile one, but that's as with any living thing on this planet. Some species may be hard/impossible to breed in captivity, but corns are one of the easiest to breed in captivity. |
