Hi, i've looked at one of the posts regarding making hides from salt dough, but within the post it says it takes ages in the oven, anyone else got any quicker methods?

Butter tubs with mousey holes are a hit with mine, easy to clean poop from too.

philadelphia tubs are popular with me at the moment - the kids eat it and they're the right size for hides for some of the smaller snakes

but amongst other things we use seedling trays, plastic tubs, carboard boxes.........the list is endless!

i did try the salt dough hides and although i was initially impressed they weren't great when they got dsmp, despite having several layers of paint and sealant
