Hi all when i was doing my research before buying my snakes i pretty much did it all online i looked at loads of different books online but wasnt really sure which to buy
So i was kinda hoping you all might be able to reccomend some good books what im after really is an idiots guide to genetics and also a guide to help id snakes because other than the obvious everyday morphs im a bit clueless lol.

Thanks in advance.

p.s also just wondering if theres any reason i shouldnt move Eve onto aspen now? shes been on kitchen roll for some time i always take her out of her rub to feed

I haven't checked, but I think hypo is listed as hypo/strawberry on the left. Hets are included in the dropdown menu. So if you had say a normal het for anery, just go to the anery drop down menu and choose 'het anery'. I've got a butter het for motley for example. So to choose butter I have to select 'Amel' and 'Caramel' and then 'het motley' from the motley drop down...

Books wise I'd recommend the book shown here written by Kathy and Bill Love, its a good price on Amazon too:

http://www.thecornsnake.co.uk/corn_snake_links.htm

Morph wise I'd stick with online as its updated more than any book can be and take a look on here:
http://iansvivarium.com/

If you want to play about and see what you'd get with a possible breeding, this is good too:
http://www.corncalc.com/

Oh,and if you've seen that your snake is pooping ok then she'll be fine on Aspen now.
