I have a problem that it is sometimes hard to tell if 3 of mine are getting ready to shed at all unless i actually catch them in full blue-eyed stage. There have been a few times when I have looked in there vivs and gone 'oh, theres a shed in there' lol. So Mine have been handled when blue and been fed. I always offer food. If they dont want to eat then thats fine I wait until they have shed and feed on the next usual feeding day. A couple of mine I know wont feed when blue so I don't even bother to offer it to those.

I've only had one shed and Frank was quite happy to eat whilst in it.

I leave it up to her, I always try and offer food (often outside her damp hide) sometimes she will, sometimes she won't :P

All of mine feed like the usual pigs they are when in blue, no exceptions :P

Wee Woody took a mouse in his usual voracious way after clearing from blue and then shed cleanly the following day.

It just depends on the individual snake. If in doubt leave until the shed is complete.

i don't think any of mine have ever refused a feed whilst in shed- only really offered once when in a full deep blue but as soon as it was smelled it was gone. 3 of mine are still young hatchies tho and get fed every 5 days. If they are due to actually shed in the next couple of days i just leave it but if their in blue for a week then they get crabbit coz they're greedy wee things

A couple of mine eat when they are in shed however i had an incident with one of my girls regurging because she ate in shed now i wait till they are finished it doesnt bother them to wait at all

some will feed when shedding others won't, I only have 1 that (lilly) that'll feed when in blue, the others just want to be left alone. I suppose it would feel a bit uncomfortable to fit a mouse in when your skins feeling so tight, i don't know if it would leave a messed up shed though - only in the sense that they might poop on it
