Not sure where to put this.
I recently bought this: http://www.surreypetsupplies.co.uk/trixie-steps.html for Gil's RUB.
When it arrived I realized I didn't know what wood it was made out of though I'm worried that it looks like pine. Can anyone tell me what it is made of? |

I've got the table version for my MBK and its fine. He loves lounging about on it,the big show off.
Ps.its not a stupid thing to worry about,its good you thought about it rather than just assuming. |

Apparently, they are made of birch wood, which is considered a hard wood, and should be fine for snakes! |

If animals can chew on it, then it's safe as pine is toxic to furries apparently too. The only animals that I know can munch on pine is parrots :/ |
