Posted - 22/07/2012 : 21:09:40 Ophion's about to have her very first shed with me! So excited. She was due a feed today which I offered to her but she didn't take it, so I'll wait until she's done. Should I offer again when she's out of blue but before she's shed, or until the whole shed is complete?
Can't wait to see what she looks like! |

Posted - 23/07/2012 : 17:09:27 Well I decided to leave the mouse in with her for half an hour before throwing it away. My other half had brained it for me as well. When the time came I asked him if he could take it out whilst he was upstairs, but he said it had gone! And low and behold my snakey and a fair sized bump :D I'm quite pleased actually, cos she did really need it after only having two pinkies the feed before (she's now on fluffs). I also think she's younger than I was told, so feel 7 days might be a bit too much for her. |

Posted - 22/07/2012 : 21:15:35 I find sonny won't take food once he's in the clear but before the shed, i like to think its because they're wary of having a full tummy when the time comes, also he has a habit of refusing the day he sheds too, its like he's too tired to eat. Do with this info what you will :P |
