So she used to go in her viv and I cleaned it out.

The last twice she has been fed she has waited until she is out to go on the carpet. Has anyone else's snake 'learnt' not to dirty their living space?

I would be waaaaay too impatient to wait until Apollo pooped his last meal to handle him. He only seems to go every other week!

I'd argue that.. Monster is a regular out of viv pooper.. personally I kinda like it.. I just let him roam on the bathroom counter (tiles FTW!) till he does what he does.. simple cleanups and a fresher viv..

it's win win..!

I don't think snakes wait to get out of the tank before they poop, just there is impatient owners who decide to get their snake out before it has pooped out its last meal :p

With my Cyrus you could hold him forever an he wouldnt poop. The monent you let his off your hands ti crawl around you could almost guarantee he'd poop.

Apollo has pooped on me twice now but I don't think it is intentional. I think it is a combination of the warmth of my hands and moving around more than usual making him need to go. I've learned to watch out for a telltale bulge at the back end.
