It's so frustrating isn't it. Probably more stressy for us than the snakes haha!

Yeah defrosted then just before offering him it, ran hot water over pinkies head. Didn't run the hot water over for too long, just enough to make sure it was warm. He was in his hide and i kinda dangled it at the entrance, and he (very slowly) decided to take it. Held my breath for a long time till it was down lol!

Like someone said on another thread i made about him not eating, when they do, it's an amazing feeling! Don't give up

really good news freddiesmum! I am in the same boat as you. I've had my babies at home with me for a week now. They last ate about a month ago. I tried a feed last night but when i checked this morning neither had eaten :( I know one of mine is in blue so i guess he just isn't in the mood at the moment and will probably be hungry after he's shed. My other is just not interested at the moment either. I'm going to try again on sunday and try the hot water on the head.

Do you just defrost as normal then run the hot water straight over the pinkies head for a few seconds?

Really is! I know it can be normal, just he's my first snake so was a bit nervous. He's now chilling in one of his hides, peeking his head out!
