Today is Sid's feeding day but I am also pretty confident that she is a due a shed any time soon as her eyes have gone cloudy, hidden away etc etc. Should I still offer her food today or should I just wait until she has shed?

No harm in offering food :)

I have always offered food to my boy when he was in blue, once he took it, once he didn't. The time he did take it there were absolutely no complications. In short, you choose :)

I fed willow as she was coming out of blue preshed once and she did regurge, since then i have always left her, it's not worth the risk and they wouldn't be out hunting in the wild anyway, that's me though some chose to and have no problems.

Boris ate his mouse just a few hours prior to shedding and was fine, no regurge or any problems. I think a lot depends on the snake itself.

Just fed Omar tonight - about 15 weeks old and not shed with me yet - I have had him 5 weeks now. Think he is going into blue as eyes looked cloudy and he has been burrowing away the last couple of days, but still eagerly ate his two pinkies. Will leave him well alone now for a few days and see what happens. Guess it just depends on the snake?

As others have said, it's up to you (and your snake I guess). I offer to all of mine when in blue but some don't eat when blue. Their mouse goes to my 'dustbin snake' Apollo as he's a bit pudgy so a smaller mouse every now and then won't hurt and he will ALWAYS eat. Without fail. No matter how small... If he doesn't get to be a dustbin for a bit, he gets his own large mouse. Simples

You can try, as was said wont matter at all if not taken, Kellogs will eat in blue, just depends on each snake

Marcus read my thread 'Just had some fun' to see what can happen

It's up to you - I tend not to feed, when they're in blue, because in nature, they wouldn't hunt. Also, if she has problems shedding, and you need to help her, you might have to handle her straight after feeding.

Some snakes will feed when blue, some might refuse. If you decide not to feed, she won't come to any harm skipping a meal.
